CONTAINS SPOILERS!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
This latest installment in the series picks up 5 years after the last game, and a new anti-terrorist group has taken the stagem Task Force 141, you will counter a Russian terrorist organisations attempts to invade the U.S. The game will take you all over the world Rio de Janeiro, Washington D.C, Siberia and Afghanistan. The game features the following game modes: Campaign Cooperative and Multiplayer In the Campaign you will constantly shift to a different perspective throughout the whole story some players may find this annoying but I believe that it furthers the gaming expiriance and adds a great depth to the game, the missions are objective based and you will be guided to each objective by a mark on the HUD which shows you the distance between yourself and the objective i personally found this an excellent way to navigate the towns and more rural locations although it had its flaws in the Special OPS Mode of the game as if you haven't been on a particular map it can get a little confusing on the timed missions and somewhat hectic but isn't that what we all love, The Multiplayer on the other hand is very similar to some of the pervious games but then again if you have a good thing why change it.
Characters Throughout the whole single player campaign you will control 5 seperate people, for most of the game you will take the role of Sergeant Gary "Roach" Sanderson, whom is part of Task Force 141, you will start the game as Private First Class Joseph Allen, you also take on the role of Private James Ramirez, and last but not least "Soap" MacTavish returns to the game as an NPC for most of the game but you do play as him at a certain point in the game, and you even get to be an astronaut.
